Before and After Shots of Reflector

Before and After Shots of Reflector

The fourth and fifth shots are the ones that where used with the golden reflector, giving a warmer feel with a tungsten look to match the lights. Although the white was good to highlight the features on the face (Such as close ups etc.) the gold will be useful for wider shots such as the fifth shot (Medium Long shot)

Here is the before shot with no reflector and only the light behind

Here is the after shot with the white reflector diffusing the light evenly over my brother's face. It evens out the shadows and allows us to see his face more.

This is the reflector (90X120CM) which my dad held for me while I took the shots. While one of us is working on the camera another member of the crew can hold the reflector while the shot is being taken.

Here is another before shot with a singular light above my brothers head. This time I used the golden reflector to bounce the light from the lamp above and onto my brother's face.

The after shot shows this gives a warmer feeling to the shot and distinguish him from the background and into the foreground. This concept is a good idea to use particularly if we are using blue lighting, however when we meet up to experiment we shall see if effect works with the low lighting or will create an entirely new effect with our camera.
