GRID Opening Ideas
Lucie and I met up to talk about further progression with the fonts. We decided that we wanted to create our title in After Effects in order to make our film look more professional and of a higher production value. It links into the genre and synopsis of the film through the electricity effect that spurts out from the main title. I researched into films in the same genre of Sci-fi and drama and concluded that these films would use bold special FX to have their title appear. It will submerge the audience in the narrative and lead them to believe they are watching a world that is falling to pieces.
Our target audience will be intrigued to continue the narrative because the font converts to their expectations of Sci-Fi films such as new technology and the motif of debated scientific theories such as 'What would the human race do with no electricity?'
